Many people do not appreciate that the Community Legal Advice Helpline can help people with everyday problems by giving them confidential legal advice over the phone.
The helpline is funded by legal aid, so if you live on a low income or benefits, you can get free independent advice about debt, education, benefits and tax credits, employment and housing problems.
Even if a person is not eligible for legal aid, they can still find ways to help by putting you in touch with the right agency or advice organisation.
The service covers English and Welsh law.

Mon - Fri 9am - 8:00pm
Sat 9am - 12:30pm
