Experts believe that many undiagnosed adults could be living with autism. Anna Richardson and campaigners Georgia Harper and Sam Ahern set out to uncover the true face of autism in the UK today.
Anna Kennedy Online, Charity Patron, Musician, and rapper John Paul Rock-Horsley who joined us in October 2016, will be part of this documentary. Age 38, JP says: “I think I’m autistic because I’ve always felt different, I’ve just never fit in. I hope this will bring closure on whether I just can’t get over this weird behaviour or whether I have a condition that causes me to be different to other people.”
Anna Kennedy OBE was invited to attended the premier on 22nd March, Anna said “Having watched the premiere where our Patron John Paul Rock-Horsley was one of the participants, was a positive programme where the presenters were female and autistic . This programme will be shown during Autism Awareness Week which is perfect timing”
A legend in the music world, JP just launched a re-release of Baby Boy as a Charity single, which was inspired by his son. Click here for the details of this wonderful collaboration and how it all started.
Channel 4 commented on their press release “Autism cases are at an all-time high in the UK – with one in every hundred-people thought to have autism. But experts now think the true number may be much higher with the situation at ‘crisis point’. A ‘lost generation’ of thousands of adults could be going through life without a diagnosis, missed by a system struggling to understand the condition”
