Autism Passport by Autism Anglia

The Autism Passport has been translated into Ukraine and Russian, hard copies will be going over to the Ukraine next week.

Anna shared: “As an Autism Champion for Autism Anglia and seeing how important the passport is for autistic individuals, I am so pleased it has been translated to support the autistic Ukraine community. The Passport will go some way to help in the overwhelming situation, this is incredibly essential in this challenging time”.

Autism Anglia shared: “Our Autism Passport is for individuals with autism and can be used in a variety of situations, e.g., court settings, police stations, Job Centres, doctors’ surgeries, religious settings, councils and for employment purposes. The Passport is based on the principle of ‘saying it only once’, to help others understand and make suitable adjustments. The Passport was written by Annie Sands, the charity’s Manager for the Northeast Essex Advocacy Service and parent of autistic children, in response to her experiences when representing many individuals over the years at appeals and tribunals.”.  Click here for details
