Let us get those happy hormones and coping chemicals as well as the hormone that regulates our sleep, mood and aggression levels having the party of their lives!! 💃🏾🕺🏼💃🏾🕺🏼☄️
Today’s video shares some simple self-massage techniques which could be done as part of morning and afternoon registration or at the beginning and end of the day, to keep on top of our mental health during more times of change and transition.
See the difference it makes to the learning and working environment!! It also means that those with special needs, disabilities, or different abilities, or those struggling with mental health are all included without being made to feel they stand out.
The collective benefit to the classroom or office is AMAZING!!
120 years of teaching were lost in 2016 due to stress. And that was before Covid!
So, let us keep those stress levels down and all get our five-minute morning and afternoon DOSE:
💛Dopamine – concentration, focus, attention, motivation
💛Oxytocin – love, nurture, immunity
💛Serotonin – happiness, confidence, self esteem
💛Endorphins – pain relief, delicious wellbeing, feeling able to cope and function.
