From a tear to here – an Autism families journey
This book tells the story of Dawn Avery’s, our Charity Champion and her family’s pathway, living with autism and ill health. It documents how it affected each of her family and not just her son Aston.
It gives an insight into a journey that many would not understand. Dawn was so lucky to have the help Of Michael Barnard- Editor and The Michel Barnard charitable trust- the sponsor.

Mickeypedia: The A to Z of an autistic savant – by Mickey Mayhew
One of our amazing charity supporters Mickey Mayhew who won the Personal Achievement Award at the Autism Charity Awards in 2018.
Aged just 12, he was permanently excluded from school; some thirty-odd years later he now works as a researcher, highlighting the plight of a group still often marginalised and misunderstood by the mainstream. Along the way he picked up five degrees, several book-publishing deals and a handful of accolades from the burgeoning autistic community.
Mickey has kindly published a book and all proceeds support our charity.

Thank you to Susan Harvey for a copy of her lovely colourful book ‘Half pint and the Nurture Gnomes’ 10% of all sales will go to our charity.
