Let’s start the New Year as we mean to go on!!
Along with our daily D.O.S.E from last week’s video , it is also important to take F.I.V.E with these breathing and mindfulness exercises which will help ALL of our mental health during these tough times.
By taking F.I.V.E every day it gives us the tools and techniques to help us to PREVENT and MANAGE anxiety, panic attacks and a decline in our mental health … and to not just react to it.
Whilst our physical brains stop growing at around the age of 18, we remain in charge of what we do with our grey matter throughout our lives!
Regular mindfulness and breathing exercises have been scientifically proven to SHRINK the grey matter around our fear centre/emotional brain and actually GROW it around our areas for memory and learning AND around our higher brain functions in the frontal cortex! How amazing is that?!
