About Carrie Grant
Carrie Grant married to the lovely David Grant and best known as judges and vocal coaches on the TV show Pop Idol, Fame Academy, Glee Club and many more.
Carrie started as a dancer on TV then moved on to presenting and session singing. Worked with Diana Ross, Roberta Flack, Lighthouse Family and many others. Carrie currently presents on The One Show.
In 2008 David and Carrie were awarded a BASCA for their lifetime services to music. Carrie has spent many years raising awareness of Crohn’s Disease, a serious inflammatory bowel condition Carrie has lived with since she was 18 years old.
Now Carrie currently is concentrating her efforts on becoming a voice and campaigner for individuals with hidden disabilities and a particular interest in girls on the autism spectrum due to her daughter’s diagnosis.
Carrie in the past has supported some of our charity events such Autism’s got Talent, Give us a Break Anti Bullying Campaign, Autism Dance Day. We have also spoken together at the House of Commons which was aired on the Chrissy B Show.
Most recently we showed solidarity as campaigners supporting the SEND Cuts campaign in Parliament Square.
