Yoga for trauma and anxiety

Following lots of requests for some more yoga fun as well as well as continuing emails about mental health, anxiety, trauma, and PTSD. So, I thought that this week I would combine the two together to help us add more tools to our toolboxes to take our mental health in hand.
Sometimes we do not want to it cannot talk about our trauma or crippling anxieties and it can really deeply affect our lives and our wellbeing.
Using our bodies to get that fabulous serotonin and gorgeous dopamine surging to our brains; to expand and deepen our breathing, is not only doing our bodies good but also helping us to express, release and regulate those darker feelings.
In this week’s video I show some directly trauma related poses and how to weave them into genes and stories to engage the younger person or someone who finds it hard to sit still. I hope you have as much fun with this as I did!!
